Dean, Mary Helen
Mary Helen Dean, 91, of Primm Springs, Tennessee, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father in Franklin, Tennessee, on February 27, 2025.. Born on June 30, 1933, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther Vaughan Fox.
Mary Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Murphree Dean, as well as her four sisters and two brothers. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Debbie (Pat) Neal; son, Dicky (Elaine) Dean; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sister Alma Gossett; and a host of extended family and friends who will remember her with deep affection.
A woman of many talents, Mary Helen cherished quilting and all forms of needlework, farming, gardening, and tending to her beautiful flowers. She was also known for her exceptional cooking. Her kind and compassionate nature made her a cherished friend and an inspiring Christian role model. Mary Helen was always ready to lend a helping hand and put others before herself. Her love for God and her family was unwavering and fierce.
Mary Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, faith, and friendship will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Graveside Services will be held 2 Mar 2025 at 2:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Primm Springs, TN.
