Michael Donovan Brooks was born on January 3, 1994 and passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 30.

Michael is the son of Denise Kujath Brooks and the late Dan Brooks. Along with his father he is also preceded in death by his maternal step grandmother Mildred Kujath, and paternal grandfather Hubert Brooks.

Michael is survived by his mother Denise Kujath Brooks, brother Brian Brison, sister Melissa Brooks, niece Kansas Brison, nephew Elijah Brison, maternal grandfather Dennis Kujath, paternal grandmother Betty Brooks, paternal aunts Sandra Brooks and Lisa Brooks, maternal uncles Dan (Sandy) Kujath, Dale Kujath, and Jason (Tina) Kujath, along with several cousins.

When Michael was very young, he enjoyed looking at rocks and fossils, anything Pokémon and playing his Gameboy.  As a young teen, he also enjoyed dragons, anything Japanese, and his various handheld gaming systems. As he grew into adulthood, he continued to enjoy and spent most of his time playing video games and gaming online.

Michael also enjoyed his mother’s “taste testing”. Occasionally she’d buy different brands of the same flavor of an item or make hamburger steaks and add different seasonings to each patty. They’d taste each item and see which one they liked the best.

Michael suffered from Autism. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to “The Els for Autism Foundation”.  They are committed to helping those with Autism lead positive, productive, rewarding lives through training and independent living programs.

Visitation with the family will be 12 April 2024 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Millrock Baptist Church, Collinwood, TN.  Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Shawnettee Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, TN.
