Angela M. “Angie” Lamberth, a source of love and kindness, passed away on May 2nd, 2024, at the age of 53, Angela was a cherished wife, mother, GiGi, and sister. She was born on September 19th, 1970, in Hohenwald, Tennessee, she was the beloved daughter of Rodger Dale Carroll and Peggy Cross Carroll, sister to Valerie Jo Carroll, and her late brother Jason Matthew Carroll. Angela’s warmth and gentle spirit brought light to the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Angela’s journey through life was one marked by devotion and caring. She found her soul mate in Terry Knox Lamberth, they shared a beautiful life of 34 years together. Their love blossomed into a family with their children Matthew Colton Dale Carroll, Catelyn Carroll Burlison, and Calley Jo Lamberth. The joy of her life multiplied when she became “GiGi” to Knoxlee Belle Burlison, Boone Thomas Lamberth, and Augustus Knox Lamberth.

Professionally, Angela dedicated herself to the field of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and homemaking. Her career was a testament to her desire to help and care for others.

Angela’s interests were a reflection of her love for life and the simple pleasures it offered. Her home was her sanctuary, a place filled with laughter and the presence of her cherished fur babies. She found peace and joy at her family’s river lot, where she could be found making memories with her family, camping and floating down the Buffalo River. Angela’s love for her family was often described as the rock of the family, providing unwavering support and strength.

GiGi’s grandbabies were the light of her life, they cherished her, and she poured her huge heart into every moment she spent with them. She embraced every opportunity to help those in need, always extending a hand with a gentle touch and a kind word depending on who you were.

Angela passed away peacefully at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will be treasured forever. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, and she will be remembered for not only for the lives she touched but also for the grace with which she lived her own.

As we bid farewell to Angela, we hold onto the love she shared and the lessons she taught through her example. Her spirit will continue to guide us, and her memory will remain a comforting presence in our lives forever.

The family will be holding a celebration of life memorial gathering in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services on Friday May 10th, 2024 from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
