Maldonado, Ethel M
Ethel Michelle Maldonado was born November 28, 1960, in Camden, New Jersey to James and Mary Lewis. She was the fourth of five children. She was educated in the Cherry Hill school system and graduated in 1978 from Cherry Hill West High School. She had three boys who she cherished, Shon, Ramse, and Lexx. She was married to Edwin Madonado from 1988 until her death.
She resided all her life in New Jersey. She and her family attended Mt. Olivet SDA Church in Camden, NJ and later Glassboro SDA Church in Glassboro, NJ. She loved singing and feeding the homeless. She also had a big love for her God and her greatest desire was to see her sons saved. Her career path took her down the health field. She was an active LPN until she developed dementia.
She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and WWE wrestling. Her hobbies included baking, sewing, taking walks, wedding planning, and decoration in anything pertaining to the arts. Her most cherished time was spent with her grandchildren and attending family gatherings.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary, brothers Stanley and James Jr. She leaves behind to remember her life, spouse- Edwin Maldonado; three sons Shon Corey Maldonado (wife Lisa Hosein), Ramse Scott Maldonado (wife Anna), and Alexander Felipe Lewis. She also leaves behind four grandchildren Jason and Javanie Maldonado and Frankie and Hunters Maldonado; three sisters Cassandra, Janice, and Linda; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday November 26, 2023, at 11:00 at Trumpet of the Wilderness ministries. A burial will follow at Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
