Marlene Victory Watson was born on July 7, 1954, in Centerville, Tennessee, and passed away on May 31, 2023, at her home in Nunnelly. She was 68 years old.

She is the daughter of the late Henry Ford Victory and Vera Mae Tidwell Victory.

She was also preceded in death by her stepmother Annie Victory who raised her after her mother’s passing, and siblings Brenda Rye, Paul Thomas Victory, Wanda Tidwell, and Randall Baker.

She is survived by her daughters Diana Jackson and Amanda Peek (Charles). Sons Chapley Watson (Stephanie) and Clifton Watson (Ashley). 12 grandchildren. Siblings Henry C. Victory, Janie Neumann, and John Wayne Baker. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

She worked for over 30 years for Levi Strauss.

She was a faithful Christian and attended the New Spring Creek Church of Christ for over 20 years.

She loved attending church, singing, and visiting others. She was always on the go, whether going to the movies or out shopping. She liked to stay busy.

All of her family and friends will deeply miss her.

Visitation with the family will be 3 Jun 2023 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM.  Burial will take place in Hilltop Cemetery, Lyles, TN.
