Thelma Ruth McFarlin, was born on March 14. 1936 in Wrigley, TN to the late Thelbert and Jessie Jewell Williams Gossett, and entered eternal rest on December 20, 2022 at the age of 86.

Survivors include her husband Gerald W. McFarlin, son John Gerald Forest McFarlin, daughter Cecily Ann McFarlin Haithcoat, brother Ronald Thomas Gossett, grandchildren Tommy Alan Haithcoat, Jesse Aaron Haithcoat, and Riley Evan Haithcoat.
