Robert L. Evenson of Grand Blanc, Michigan, age 95, died Monday, October 10, 2022.

Robert was born on April 13, 1927 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Herman and Lillian (Holtze) Evenson.

Robert served in the US Navy on the USS Hornet from 1945 – 1946. Robert (Bob) worked as a tool and die maker at GM Truck and Bus (Union 659) until his retirement in 1996. He married his wife Linda (Millikan) on February 7, 1975 and blended their families. They are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is also a member of the VFW. He enjoyed many hobbies to include reading, singing, camping and his love of old cars.

He is survived by wife, Linda; children, Cindy (Dennis) Wilbett of Hohenwald, Debbie Derk, Eric (Kim) Evenson, David (Hollie) Millikan, Chris (Tammy) Millikan, Todd Millikan and Suzanna (Phillip Howell) Jobe and Brian Vliet; 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Cremation has already taken place and a military service will be held on October 27 at 2 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan.
