A little daughter of Mr. W. M. CATE of this city fell from a stable loft last week hurting herself severely. At first it was thought her skull was fractured, but on examination, as we understand, it was not. She is doing as well as could be expected at the present.

Mrs. Annie TILLMAN, who resides on Gay street, was struck by a Jo Johnston avenue car between 6:30 and 7 o’clock Tuesday morning and was seriously injured. Mrs. TILLMAN is a midwife and had been at work during the night. She was on her way home when the accident occurred.
