Work of the Historical Records Survey
The records in the Henderson County Courthouse in Lexington are currently the object of the attention of the workers of the Historical Records Survey, a Federal project, sponsored by the Works Progress Administration
The survey, which is making an actual inventory of the records of each of some three thousand counties of the United States, is headed by Mr. William T. Scott, assisted by Mrs. Ethel H. Fesmire, Mrs. Evajean Stanford and Mr. Thomas Williams.
