HENLEY, Morgan R. – Buys Auto (1911)
Morgan R. HENLEY, clerk of the circuit court of Fayette county, has bought an auto, the third fro this county. Only recently the second in the county was brought to Somerville by W.M. MAYO, an attorney and clerk of the chancery court, and last Monday Mr. HENLEY arrived from Memphis with his, making the trip in the new car from Memphis to Somerville in about two hours time. According to rumor, several other citizens are on the anxious seat, and it would not be at all surprising if in six months, Somerville should boast of half a dozen cars. Sorry we can’t be in the number of the half a dozen who may have them, we’ll have to foot it a few years yet.
