As it regards what worldly Estate it has pleased God to bless me with I disposed of in the following manner that is to say as it respects the property which my deceased husband John Carter willed to me thinking it not well to be cumbered with so much worldly Estate the same was sold and equally divided among his legal heirs myself taking a childs part My son J.D.D.K. Carter who died in Missouri and appointed myself together with his wife Margaret Carter now Margaret Winn Executrix to his last will and Testament which is now recorded in the register office in Huntingdon Tenn My will and desire is that his land interest in Tennessee and Missouri be kept for his heirs in the manner directed by his will I furnished means to remove the family of my son J.D.D.K. Carter back to Tennessee together with some other means amounting to the sum of Two hundred & fifty six Dollars which himself and heirs have received.
My will and desire is that my children W. H. Carter receive one hundred dollars that the bodily heirs of Eliza J. Montgomery receive one hundred Dollars, that the bodily heirs of Niez J. Kee receive one hundred dollars that Tobitha C. Denning also have the sum of one hundred Dollars and in case my children either of them should be dead that my Executor hereinafter named shall pay the said sum of one hundred Dollars to the to the hiers of the Deceased in proportion to their number as they arrive at Mature age.
I also direct that should there be as a remainder left of my Estate after paying the sums specifyed in this will that the same be equally divided between my heir W.K. Carter Tebitha C. Denning the heirs of Eliza J.Montgomery Niez J. Kee and the heirs of J.D.D.K. Carter each family of grand children receiving an heirs part.
My will and desire is that my Executor hereinafter named sell all my property collect all my dues and pay the above mentioned claims to thosse who are of full age and that my grand children receive their proportional part as they become of age which money I wish placed at interest untill that time if in my Executors power
Lastly I constitute and appoint my worthy friend B F Harrison Executor to this my last will and testament.
