NEWBILL, Erin (d. 1897)
A Sad Death – Miss Erin, the beautiful daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. NEWBILL of the Trezevant community, died last Friday of typhoid fever after an illness of several days. Miss Erin was about 16 years old, a member of the Baptist church, a lovely girl and greatly admired by a large circle of friends. She attended the Trezevant school and had greatly endeared herself to both teachers and students and the death is not only an affliction to the family, but the church, school and community who join the parents in this sad bereavement. The burial occurred Saturday at the Trezevant cemetery. Mrs. NEWBILL is also dangerously sick with the same disease.
