Carroll County ( I Nathaniel Edwards being sound in body and mind and knowing the shortness of time the certainty of death do this day make this my last will.
I will and bequeath unto my wife Alcy Edwards seventy five acres of land including the residence where I now live and also two horses three milch cows fifteen head of hogs and five head of sheep and also house hold and kitchen furniture to have and to hold and use during her natural life or widow hood and at her death to be equally divided between all my living heirs, place I will and bequeath to all my living heirs at my death to be
2nd – equally divided between them the following property Vis which is not disposed of otherwise consisting of land stock &c viz Nancy Mahala Bennett Wincey Jane Williams Sarah L. Edwards William A. Edwards Mary M. Bomer Nathaniel James Edwards Louisa A. Edwards John H. W. Edwards Purity Ann E. Edwards Whereunto I set my hand and affix my seal this being the 10th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & fifty eight.
