McCORD, W.G. (Mrs.) – (d. 1897)
Mrs. MCCORD, wife of W.G. MCCORD, died at the home of her husband, a short distance from Huntingdon, last Monday, after an illness of several days. Mrs. MCCORD was nearly 70 years old, a member of the C.P. church, lived a beautiful christian life and died the christian’s death. Religion adorned her life and she adorned her profession. She professed religion when only 12 years old and joined the church at once, and it can be truly said that she devoted a long life to her church. She was a kind mother and wife and stood high in the estimation of her neighbors. Her remains were buried Tuesday, Rev. J.W. JOYNER officiating at the grave.
