We understand that Dr. T.C. LOVE of McLemoresville, and Miss Lula CARTER, of Paris, were married at the latter place yesterday morning, Dr. T.W. SALT, of McLemoresville, officiating. We failed the learn the full particulars of the marriage, but understand the affair was on the quiet order. Dr. LOVE is a very fine physician, a cultured gentleman and stands high in his profession as well as in the estimation of the community in which he lives. Miss Lula is well known to Huntingdon people, having attended school here two or three years, and was greatly admired by a large circle of friends. She is a graduate of the scientific department of the Southern Normal University, and possesses many lovable and charming traits of character. The DEMOCRAT believes the union a happy one and takes great pleasure in extending congratulations.
