Mr. J.T. DENNY and Miss Mattie A. ROGERS, of the First district, were married yesterday. Rev. Ramsey DUNCAN officiating. Mr. DENNY is a prosperous farmer and business man and a most excellent gentleman, one of the best young men in that community. Miss ROGERS‘ home is in Dickson, but she has been teaching at Lavinia for some time and has made a host of friends and admirers by her splendid character and many womanly graces. The newly married couple were the recipients of many hearty congratulations and well wishes from their numerous friends.
