In the name of God, Amen. I Lemuel Rust being of Sound mind but weake in boddy do make this my last will and Testament my will and desiar is that all my Just debt being first paid my will and desair is after all my Just debts is paid. First my will is that Adline Rust to have a bed & furniture at my deth the ballence of my property Real and personal Estate is to belong to my beloved wife Nanny Rust during of her life and after her death, my will is that the deth of my will is that all my property Real and personal is to belong to my son Lemuel W. Rust. I appoint my son Lemuel W. Rust my sole executor of this my last will and Testament.

Carroll County( June Term 1843 of Carroll County Court this day the last will & Testament of Lemuel Rust, Decd. was produced in open court and the Execution duly proven by the oathes of Jeremiah T. Rust and Rowland Gooch the two witnesses there to and ordered to be recorded.
