I Lee Palmer of the County of Carroll and State of Tennessee I do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
First And First I direct that my body be decently intered And as to such worldly Estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with I dispose of the same as follows.
First I direct that all my debts and funeral Expences be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or that may first come into the hands of my Executor from any portion of my personal Estate.
Secondly Secondly I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Franics E. Palmer during her natural life widowhood or stay on the premises the tract of land on which I now live beginning on a Stake on John B. Roberts south boundary line running east with said line 132 poles to a stake Wm. Hortons S W corner thence north Sd Hortons line 243 poles to a dogwood thence with Wm. G. Palmers & Esquire Dwiggins South boundary round to the beginning containing 150 Acres more or less Also one bay mare Betts and colt Nell one choice cow and calf one sow & five shoats two Ewe Sheep Three stills and all the apartus belonging thereto Three feather beds steads and furniture twenty Barrels of corn 12 Bushel of wheat and one thousand binds of fodder one plow and gear one half Dozin chairs one table 1/2 Dozin plates and set cupps and soucers and set of knives and forks and all the poultry now on hand one bee hive and one ladys saddle & bridle one pot oven and skillett on her death marriage or several from the premises the land and stills is to be sold or equally divided between my children.
Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my children John H. Jesse F. and William G. Palmer and Sarah Vaughn five Dollars each.
Fourthly I direct that all my bacon Lard and brandy be sold for cash and my debts be paid out of the proceeds all my other property not named in this will to be sold as my Executer may think best.
I do hereby make ordain and appoint my esteemed neighbour and friend Daniel Mc Levee without any security Executer of this my last will and testament In tistemony whereof I Lee Palmer the said testator have to this my will written one one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & fifty Eight.

At the above term of said – was produced in open court a paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Lee Palmer Decd and offered for probate and the same was duly proven by the testimy of William White and John J. White and ordered to be duly recorded of which the foregoing is a copy test.
