Book A, Transcript Page: 343
Item First. I wish my wife Lucy H. Swayne to have the whole of my property for and during her life to do with as she pleases and at her death I wish all my property to be equally divided among my children. I do not want my said wife to be compelled to give any security or to render any inventory of my property.
The testator made the above statement to us during his last sickness at his own house requesting us to state it to Isaac R. Hawkins and to get him to write it down which we have done this 3rd day of July 1859.
