State of Tennessee Carroll County
I David Vinson do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made.
First I direct that my funeral Expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor. I will that one cow and two heifer yearlings my stock of hogs and six head of sheep and ten Barrels of corn due from E. Pruett also some pot waor and my farming tools be sold and pay all my just debts.
Secondly. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Gattin one Dollar
Thirdly I give and bequeath to my daughter Selia Bon one Dollar
Fourthly I give and bequeath to my daughter Glatha Vinson one dollar.
Fifthly I give and bequeath to my son Allen J. Vinson One dollar.
Sixthly I give and bequeath to my son William Vinson One Dollar.
Seventhly. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Glatha Newsom Prissilla Vinson Selia Vinson Margaret Vinson Seventeen and one half acres land off of the tract on which I live off of the Southwest corner of said tract.
Eightly I give and bequeath to my son Jessee Vinson James Vinson John J. Vinson Benjamin Vinson my tract of land after taking off the seventeen and half Acres off to be equally divided between the four.
It is further my will that my single single children live on the land and take care of the little ones and rase them if they do not it is further my will that the land be rented and the proceeds applied to the raising of my youngest children.
Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint Allen Williams my Executor in witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal this 12th June 1854.

This day was produced in open court a paper writing purporting to be the last will and Testament of David Vinson Decd and the same being duly proven in open court was ordered to be duly recorded of which the foregoing is a copy test.
