ANDERSON, Josiah – Sells Farm (1897)
Josiah ANDERSON has sold his farm, three miles west of town, to W.W. MILLS, the gentleman who came to this county a few weeks ago from Minnesota. The consideration, as we are informed, was $4,800 cash. Mr. ANDERSON will commence making arrangement at once to move with his family to Texas, and Mr. MILLS, as soon as Mr. ANDERSON leaves, will move to his new purchase. Mr. ANDERSON is one of our best citizens and we regret very much to lose him from this community but hope his move to Texas will prove a profitable one. The farm purchased by Mr. MILLS is a good one and we think he will be pleased with it.
