This page will be updated until the genweb message board is restored to operation. The goal is to provide a location where visitors looking for photos of family members can post surnames. Other visitors having photos of those surnames will be able to contact them. The scope is for Carrol county & west Tennessee, but can be nation wide. After receiving an email from those interested in the collaboration we will post it here. Below we will post an example of an email that will need to be sent. Over the past years(55+) I have collected and scanned old family photos(1500+) held by elderly family members. Over that time it was possible to identify 90% of those either verbally with them or by notes on the back. The center of research has always been West Tennesse, specifically Benton & Carroll counties. These of course do include photos of individuals who were out side of this area. My public Ancestry tree currently contains 3692 individuals, many of which have photos attached. The place of resident of these individuals are included in many cases. With that and the surname it should be possible to share and identify these photos. All these photos can be viewed and downloaded using Google photo shared links.
