CANNON COUNTY, TN – DEEDS – Robert Bryson to Stephen Wilson, 15 Feb 1840 —-คคค—- Cannon Co. Rec bk H, p. 233 Robert Bryson to Stephen Wilson I, Robert Bryson have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Stephen Wilson and his heirs forever for the consideration of three hundred and seventy-five dollars to me paid a tract of land in the state of Tennessee Cannon Co and District 14 containing by estimation one hundred and seventy acres to be the same more or less and bounded as follows: Beginning at a sugar tree marked D.M. and B. Running South to a stake Thence with the ridge between the said land and Robert Bryson’s to a white oak; thence North one hundred and four poles to a Lynn; thence one hundred poles to a beech; thence North one hundred and Sixty poles to a stake; thence West one hundred poles to the beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said Stephen Wilson his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant with the said Stephen Wilson that I am lawfully seized of said land have a right to convey it and that the same is uninmcumbered. I do further covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said land and every part thereof, to the said Stephen Wilson his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all person whatever.
