REGISTRATION AND SECURITY :

All visitors are required to register and to present their registration card on each visit. When leaving the building your briefcase, bag, purse and / or notebook will be checked by the guard. Lockers are available for storage of your belongings during your visit. They are not responsible for items left unattended in the reading rooms. Visitors using original manuscripts will be required to leave their belongings in a locker.

DIRECTIONS :

Tennessee State Library and Archives is located immediately west of the State Capitol Building. The Tennessee State Supreme Court Building (at the corner of 7th Avenue North and Charlotte Avenue) is located beside the library.
