William K. CROSS, maternal grandmother Louzena (Cross) CROSS; received common school education; married Fannie M. MASSENGILL June 9, 1904; Democrat; in early life taught school; read law under Col. Chas. R VANCE, Bristol (Tenn.) and admitted to bar at Blountville, Tenn., Nov.1893; engaged in practice of law since March 1894; attorney for Farmers’ Bank of Sullivan Co., and a director in same; member of Christian church.
