WILLIAMS

The death certificate for Ella H. WILLIAMS, born probably 1875, daughter of James Lewis Williams and Effie Lou or Lou Effie Butler, states she was born in Williamson County, TN. James Lewis Williams was born January 1836, Effie Oct. 1837. They were married in 1863. Ella’s older siblings born in Tennessee were Nathan H. 1864, John Thomas 1865 and Sarah F. 1869. T. Vance Little states in his 1970 publication of “Williamson 101” that “Williams records are too numerous to enumerate in a work of this nature. There have always been Williams’ in the Nolensville area, and it is not clear which are kin to which.” Nevertheless, does any Williams recognize this Williams family in their line?
