I am looking for any information on a Mary C. JOHNSON who married James S. WILLIAMS in Williamson Co., TN. I believe her middle name could be Cool. They were married Nov. 19, 1811. Her birthdate might be April 3rd or 30th. They had 12 children as follows: Henry, Joel, Martha (Patty), Phillip, Rosetta, Nancy C. (b 1820), James Thomas(b 1822), William A.(b 1824), S.B.(b 1826), John Sumner (b 1829), Allen (b 1831), and Susan (b1833). He was a Methodist circuit preacher and left Bolivar, TN for AR in 1850. Bolivar is in Hardeman county, Tn.

According to his obituary, he was an orphan. I know there is a connection to the Tristram PATTON, Isaac PATTON and other PATTON families in early Williamson County, but we can’t place him with any of the families. RIGGS
Williamson County has several RIGGS place names: Riggs Chapel & Cemetery, Riggs Crossings and Post Office, etc. Am curious if anyone knows the Riggs these landmarks were named for. My g-g-g-grandfather is in Henderson County,TN in 1820 with, I assume two RIGGS brothers, but since there were other Riggs’ traveling across TN from North Carolina I wondered if their relatives and/or they may have stopped in Williamson Co. first.
