GOODMAN, DAVIS
Looking for info on Delaney DAVIS married Archibald GOODMAN Williamson Co TN Mar 11, 1806 according to familysearch IGI. Delaney was the widow of ? DAVIS. Both were born in NC and left about 1804. Delaney and Archibald lived in Williamson Co about 14 years before moving to IL probably about 1820 as they were in Union Co IL census 1830. Delaney had a son W Y DAVIS prior to her marriage to Archibald GOODMAN. Would appreciate info confirming marriage and any other info available. Thanks.

I am looking for the parents of MARCUS LAFAYETTE DALTON. He was born October 14, 1819 in Tennessee and died November 8, 1870 in Palo Pinto County, Texas. He married LUCINDA GAMBILL. She was born June 6, 1819 in Logan County, Kentucky and died February 8, 1900 in Palo Pinto County, Texas. Her parents are WILLIAM GAMBILL and SARAH WARD. MARCUS LAFAYETTE DALTON and LUCINDA GAMBILL had the following children: WILLIAM CLEO DALTON, GEORGE DALTON, JOHN DALTON, CHARLIE A. DALTON, ROBERT S. DALTON who married MILLIE SLAUGHTER, GEORGE LEE DALTON who married LUVINA PARALEE TENNISON. SARAH DALTON who married A. L. Denson, MARY DALTON who married a HERRIN and JENNIE DALTON who married a VOLENTINE. These DALTON’S are buried at either Lu-Queen Cemetery or the Greenwood Cemetery in Palo Pinto County, Texas. NEWCOMB, POPE
NEWCOMB,Nelson, married Sarah POPE in Williamson County, TN in 1838. Looking for his parents. I think he is the same man who married Mary or Polly POPE in Fayette County, IL in 1844. HILL
William H. Hill was born in Williamson County in 1837. His father’s name was Louis F. mother was Nancy Temple. William was with the 20th Tennessee Volunteers Infantry. I am trying to find information about Louis and Nancy. Louis was born in NC, Nancy in Tenn about 1807 or1805. They were in Williamson County on the 1850 census. Thank you.

MCKAY, JOHN
John McKay, thought to be from SC. fought in Battle of Ft Loudon late 1700s. Migrated to Mid Tenn Williamson Co early 1800s. Died 1807. 3 sons William, Alexander, & Thomas. Wife was not mentioned in his will of 1807. All 3 sons were prominent land owners in Willismaon Co, Thomas played a role in the early formation of Williamson Co. John also was a REv war vet who is buried in Maury co. Does anyone know where he may be buried or anything abount this very brave man. PLease help. If you are a McKay descendant please contact me.
