TWOMEY, ANDERSON[3], TERRELL

Isaac TWOMEY married Fanny ANDERSON in NC and moved to Rutherford Co TN by 1820 census.  They had a son MORRIS DAVID TWOMEY born 1818. They moved to Williamson Co TN by 1830 and during the Civil War moved to Hickman Co TN.  In 1841 in Williamson Co, MORRIS DAVID TWOMEY married HARRIET TERRELL, dau of JESSE TERRELL from VA. Morris and Harriet had a large family and I have lots of information about them. What I need to do is find definite proof that Morris is son of Isaac and Fanny.  Morris died in the Civil War and Isaac and Fanny much later. Thanks to anyone who can furnish definite proof of father/mother-son relationship.  I have a lot of information to share with anyone interested.

TUCKER, YEARWOOD, HASTINGS, GRUBS, ROARK

I am searching for John W TUCKER’S parents.  John was born in Barren (Baren) Williamson County 6 Aug 1823.  The town does not exist anymore, but I found a post office that opened up in Barren in 1839 and closed in 1870. So at least I have pinpointed the existence of Barren somewhere.  The only information I have on his parents is that his mothers name was Jane and we think his fathers name was Louallen or any spelling variation thereof.  I do however have the siblings of John, which follows.  Joseph Pascal b in TN, d 23 Mar 1892 Madison Creek ARK, married to Mary E YEARWOOD 21 Mar 1850.  Allen Harvie b 7 June 1829 in TN, d 11 Oct 1909 Madison Creek ARK, married Elvirie ROARK. Thomas TUCKER…no information. Robert TUCKER d Twin Falls Idaho.     Cathern TUCKER b TN, married to someone by the surname of GRUBS. And a half brother, Henery HASTINGS b 1 July 1857.  We think both parents died while the boys were in their teens, because the story is that they decided to go their seperate ways, ARK, MO, ID, etc.

MCDANIEL

I seek e-mail contact with any one descended from or interested in the life of Collin MCDANIEL, b. Oct 31, 1767 in Halifax County, VA, d. May 1855 in Williamson Co., Tenn.  Virginia Bowman of Franklin is a descendant of Collin…if you are related to her and have e-mail, I’d like to hear from you.  Collin was my 5th great uncle, and I know of few figures who spoke so openly and revealed more for today’s genealogist.  Without Collin, much of the Tennessee McDaniel genealogy would be forever lost. Collin operated a tavern and postal center on the Franklin Pike beginning in 1805.    He had 11children…many living in Mississippi, a few living in and around Franklin.  Please let me hear from you!
