(1812), and the birth of his son, Legross Washington Driskill 10-2-1816. I believe that he moved to Louisiana about 1818. STATEN d. 1835 in Williamson County, TN Wife’s name is Sarah HOLLAND who remarried John ADKISSON on July 26, 1836. Published marriage records of Williamson County indicate that one Sally Staten married John Atkinson, Jr. on July 26, 1836. Sally of course, is a nickname for Sarah and Adkisson is often mistaken for Atkinson by researchers when viewing and compiling old records. Sarah and Mr. Staten are my gggrandparents and my research has come to a dead end at this point. I will be so greatful if someone there in Williamson County could locate any information at all that would perhaps give me his christian name, parentage or what-have- you. Jesse moved ca 1804 to the area of Lepur’s Fork of West Harpeth and Charles White, Jr. moved there circa 1814.Both of these families moved to Hickman Co. during the 1820s/1830s. Jesse White had the following children: Polly/Mary who marr. VA, married abt. 1803 (VA?),moved to Williamson Co TN about 1804, appear in records of Bedford Co and Williamson Co., left for Louisiana in 1818. Several children born in Williamson Co, including William Young, Elizabeth, John Saddler, Michael Cadet, Henrietta Houston, and Legross Washington. Nancy was believed to be the daughter of William YOUNG, but other evidence suggests that her father was Ephraim ANDREWS. Any additional information would be helpful, and appreciated!

I’m searching for my GGrandmothers family; Luda Martin she was B: 1874 D: 1961 she Married James R. Sullivan B: 1873 D:1955..
