Looking for Joseph PRITCHETT family information probably circa 1810-1825,Williamson Co. COLEMAN, DENTON

Looking for parents of James Anderson Coleman, born ca 1811/12, who married Sarah Ann Denton in Williamson County on 16 January 1832. The family removed to Marion County, Illinois around 1850. James Anderson Coleman’s father was reputed to have died in the War of 1812 without ever having seen his son. Any information on either the Coleman or Denton families would be greatly appreciated.

LAMB

this is kind of a strange query but i am going to ask anyway.i have alamb ancestor that lived in williamson county in the early to mid1800’s and he married 3 times in williamson county.what i amwondering is in 1838 he married for the first time and then in 1841he married again to the sister of his first wife.i have not been ableto turn up any divorce papers from his first wife so he was marriedto 2 women at the same time.even back then wasn’t that illegal? howcould he have gotten by with that and where else can i check besidesthe court house and libraries for such a thing.he married the secondgirl because she had his child 4 months earlier and he needed to givethe child his a name.i am just a little confused about the situationand the laws of that time so if any one out there knows would youplease email me directly.i just can’t imagine a man breaking the lawto try to fix what was considered an immoral situa! tion but again idon’t know the laws for that time.thank you in advance for taking thetime

ORPHANAGE IN FRANKLIN, (WILLIAMSON CO.) TN

Hello, I am searching for information on the history of a St Paul’s Catholic Orphanage formerly of Franklin, TN. My mother lived there from 1929 – 1941 and was told that it was torn/burned down. Need any info on the family of John B. McEwen who married Cynthia Graham in 10/13/1842 in Williamson Co. They lived in Williamson Co, TN also. I believe John McEwen was a Doctor.
