PEARSON, Thomas C. — farmer; born Madison Co., Tenn., Oct 3, 1855; Scotch-Irish descent; son of John E. and Mary D. (Wilkes) PEARSON; paternal grandparents Henry J. and Mary (Matthews) PEARSON; maternal grandfather William WILKES, his maternal grandmother was Miss WIN prior to her marriage; in early life engaged in milling and ginning business; former constable, Justice of Peace and Register of Crockett Co.; was Justice of the Peace for 18 years and Register of the county for eight years; Democrat; married three times, first N.E. FARROW, Dec. 15, 1875, second, Rosa GILBERT, 1893, third, Sadie FARROW, 1908; member Masons, Odd Fellows Woodmen of the World, Eastern Star and Farmers’ Union; member of Baptist church.
