SADLER Nov. 12, 1885; member of Masonic Lodge No. 604, I. O. O. F. 301, K. of P. 220; elected sheriff of Cheatham Co. Aug., 1902; appointed Fire Marshal May, 1908; elected County Court Clerk Aug., 1910; active in breaking up night riding in Cheatham, Robertson and Montgomery counties while Fire Marshal; during term as sheriff arrested 108 men at one time; probably the largest arrest ever made by one sheriff in the State; Democrat.
