B. June 1892; married Lillian G. FELT, Dec. 29, 1898; Mason; Democrat; member of Tenn. Legislature 1899; Methodist; elected Judge of Court of Civil Appeals Aug. 1910; was first to refuse to enter Democratic (Regular) Primary June, 1910, was later nominated by Independent Convention and elected by large majority.
