I. in 1893; married Etta C. LEACH Dec. 24, 1893; Democrat; Superintendent of Public Instruction for Washington Co., Tenn.; Oct., 1907, to Jan. 1911; member of the Baptist church; all of his business life has been devoted to educational work.
