QUARTERMAN, September, 1883; was pastor Darien, Ga., 1875-83; Gainesville, Fla., ’83-’94; Birmingham, Ala., till 1903; called to Second Church, Memphis, 1903; was delegate to General Assembly 1888, Baltimore, Greensboro, N. C., 1908; delegate to Council of Reformed Churches, holding Presbyterian System in New York City; Moderator of Synods of Florida, Georgia and Tennessee; was named as delegate to Edinburgh, Scotland; author magazine articles; Independent Democrat.
