This is a modern replacement stone for Benjamin Thomas Leroy Clanton WINSTON,  born 25 Dec. 1838  in  North Carolina,  and  died 1875  in Greenfield, Weakley Co, Tn.   He married Nancy A. Mary ROSE   5 Feb 1870.  3 children:  Isador Manora WINSTON,   Imaugene WINSTON,  and  Benjamin Almus WINSTON.   Kindred Mason WINSTON, who was the son of Benjamin Almus WINSTON  and wife  Nancy Effie STROUP,  replaced his grandfather's  grave stone with a modern  upright stone.    

This  upright sturdy stone  is the  only  way to find  the other  knocked over  tombstones  in that old farm cemetery.  Other old stones  are knocked over on ground and covered with periwinkle vines.  Only "feet"  of stones  stick up.
