Will of Elizabeth H. TAYLOR


State of Tennessee, Weakley County

To whom it may concern, I, Elizabeth H. TAYLOR, being of sound mind, make this my last will and testament.  I first desire all of my burial expenses paid and any other debts that I may owe at the time of my demise, be paid.  I hereby will and bequeath unto my beloved husband Martin L. TAYLOR, all of my personal effects from whatever source derived.  If I should have any bodily heirs living at the time of my death, I do will and bequeath unto such of my bodily heirs, all of the lands or real estate inherited by me from my uncle Wesley WATERFILED's estate, unto such of my bodily heirs as I may leave at my death.  But if I should leave no living bodily heirs or if my husband Martin L. TAYLOR should outlive such of my bodily heirs, then I do will and bequeath all of my lands and real estate inherited by by me from the estate of my uncle Wesley WATERFIELD, unto my husband Martin L. TAYLOR and his heirs and assigns forever.  Further, if I should die possessed of any part or interest in my father's or mother's estate or any other property, personal or real not above mentioned.  Then I do will and bequeath all of such of my property or interest in such property, personal or real, divided or undivided, unto my husband, Martin L. TAYLOR, his heirs and assigns forever.  But if I should outlive my husband martin L. TAYLOR, then I will and bequeath all of my property to my bodily heirs.  But if I should outlive my husband and leave no living bodily heirs, then I will and bequeath all of my property unto my brothers and sisters, after first paying all debts that my husband Martin L. TAYLOR or myself have contracted for my benefit or for the benefit of our children.  Further, I make it as my last request that my father, mother, brothers or sisters, shall never oppose this or any part of this my last will and testament.  In testimony whereof, I do sign this with my own hand, and cause the same to be sealed and witness in my presence, this october the 24th 1879.
