In the name of God Amen, I John HARROLD of the County of Weakley and State of Tennessee and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life and the certainty of death, do make, ordain and establish this my last will and testament in the manner and from the following to wit, That is to say first, that after my death I desire that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid of the first moneys that come into the hands of my executor. 2nd my will and desire is at my death that my estate both real and personal or otherwise and I give it unto my beloved wife, Elizabeth D. HARREL during her life time or widowhood and at her death or marriage I desire that it my estate be divided evenly among my children. Those children that is now deceased or may be deceased at my death there children is to represent there parents and get his or her part of my estate.

I hereby nominate and appoint S. CAPS executor to this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me at any time made.

Codicil to the will of John HARRALD, deceased

Whereas I, John HARRALD of the county of Weakley and State of Tennessee, have made my last will and testament in writing bearing date 3rd day of October 1860, in and by which I have given and bequeath to my belived wife Elizabeth D.
HARRALD, all of my estate, both real and personal, during her lifetime or widow-hood. Now therefore, I do by this my writing which I hereby desire to bea codicil to this my last will and testament, and to be taken as a part thereof, I order and declare that my will is that one of my tracts of land containing sixty-two and a half acres adjoining the land of S. POPE, Bennet RAY, T. G. RITCHIE, known as the WOMBLE Tract, I give and bequeath it to my beloved wife forever, to sell or to convey as she sees fit.

Witness my hand and seal this the 31st day of October 1860.
