 Will of Nancey P. ADAMS, deceased

I, Nancey P. ADAMS, do make and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made. First, I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor. 

Secondly, I give and bequeath to my son William C. STOVALL, fifteen hundred dollars in cash, one negro boy named Alfred, one negro girl named Mary, my horse and buggy.  Thirdly, I give and bequeath to my son Hartwell D. STOVALL, five dollars.  Fourthly, I give and bequeath to my grandson William H. PIERCE, six hundred dollars in cash.  Fifthly, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann GARDNER, one negro woman named Jinney,
and the balance of money that may be in the hands of my Executor after the above mentioned bequests have been paid over.  Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint Alfred GARDNER, my Executor.  In witness whereof, I
do to this my will set my hand and seal July 1853.
