| Dr. JOHN MILLER JONES (Born 3 Jul 1846 in either Weakley or Rutherford
County; married Nancy Caroline Patterson, daughter of Gilbert and Mildred
Campbell Patterson of Weakley, on 29 Feb 1872; died 13 Feb 1908 in Newport,
Jackson County, AR, buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Newport. John moved
away from Weakley to practice medicine after marrying Callie in 1872. He
had been a member of Forrest's Old Cavalry during the Civil War.
