Dr. George Washington Dibrell and his wife Elizabeth Hall. Dr. Dibrell born 1827 in Tn. died 1899 Martin, Tn. He and Eliz married 1850, Weakley Co., Tn. Elizabeth was the daughter of Baptist minister James H. Hall and his wife Racheal Bruce. Both James H. nad Racheal were born in Halifax Co., Va., moved to Carroll Co., Tn. 1830s and then into Weakley Co. circa 1845. Elizabeth was born 1832 un Halifax Co., Va. No death date known for ELizabeth. This couple was direct ancestor of Patricia Lee Murphy who contributed so much to the genealogy of Weakley Countians before her death. Submitted by Grace Upshaw |
