G. & Mattie Maness. John R. Caudle and wife Nancy Garrett Caudle came and settled about 2 miles S.E. of Greenfield before the Civil War. Their son Will Caudle & son-in-law Jim Kimery were Confederate soldiers. Will Caudle 1846-1900
