William David NOWLIN, 1834-1911, was the husband of Caroline E. GLASS, 1838-1902.  William was the son of David K. NOWLIN, 1809-1885 and Caroline A. MARTIN, 1808-1885.  The back of the tombstone says "Erected by their grateful son, The Rev. William D. Nowlin, D.D."

Caroline Elizabeth GLASS, 1838-1902, was the wife of William D. NOWLIN, 1834-1911.  Caroline and William were married 29 January 1862 in Weakley County.  Caroline was the daughter of Dudley GLASS III, 1808-1870 and Elizabeth A. ROGERS, 1818-1853.-  Bob Farmer
