John C. Gardner b. 24 Dec 1837, d. 26 Aug 1873 and Virginia M. Gardner (Martin) b. 23 Dec 1843, d. 9 Feb 1922. Both are buried in the East Side Cemetery, Martin, Tennessee. They were married 30 Nov 1868. Virginia M. Gardner (Martin) was a daughter of William Martin b. 30 Jan 1806 d. 17 Jan 1859 and Sarah Martin (Glass) b. 1810, d. 29 Jul 1853. Submitted by Bob Farmer
