Mary (Austin) Winters born 23 Nov 1833 and died 1 Jul
1889. The inscription at the bottom reads: Favor of heaven
too near the crown without lifes weary race. Her husband is on
the back of this stone. His name is J. M. (James) Winters born 31
May 31, 1832 and died 28 Jan 1898. His inscription reard:
Here I lay my burden down change the cross into the crown. James
and Mary Winters are the parents of Sarah Emilene Winters. James
M. Winters was the son of J S Winters born 1801 in SC and Mary born
1807 in VA. - Morgan Cemetery just outside of Palmersville, TN.
