MORRIS ADAMS Lillie P. Sarah A. Wife of Wife of Tom Morris I. H. Adams Born Born Sep.1, 1883 Dec.18, 1834 Died Died Aug.22, 1904 Jan. 4, 1914 As wives, devoted; As mothers, affectionate, As friends, ever kind and true MORRIS ADAMS NOTE: The two women were grand daughter and grandmother. Sarah Ann MORRIS was daughter of Carrol MORRIS and Polina FRY. In 1828 Sarah married Berry M. YOUNG in Warren Co., Tennessee. They had two children - Amon (or Ayman) YOUNG and Octavia YOUNG. In 1868 Mrs. Sarah Ann (MORRIS) YOUNG married Isaac H. ADAMS. In 1879 Amon YOUNG married Savanah B. PARHAM. They had a daughter-Lillie P. YOUNG. In 1902 Lillie married Tom N. MORRIS. After Lillie P. (Young) Morris passed away Tom N. Morris married Sallie A. Adams. The headstone of Lillie and Sarah are next to the headstone of Sallie and Tom. |
