My name is Harry ALDERDICE. My mother
was Lubbie Thompson NOWLIN ALDERDICE, and she was the daughter of James
Almus and Anne THOMPSON NOWLIN. He was he son of James Madison and
Catherine WHITE NOWLIN, the son of David K and Caroline MARTIN NOWLIN.
My mother was raised in Martin, TN and lived there until she married my
father, Harry ALDERDICE, Sr. James and Mary MCCLAIN ALDERDICE first settled
in Weakley Co. when they came from NC.
I served from 1948 until 1952 in the Navy as a Navy Hospital Corpsman. This was during the Korean Conflict. Submitted by Harry Alderdice. |
