1824 d. Aug 11 1900 - Moseley or Old Hall Cemetery - son of James
Madison SHANNON & Mary HAYES. He came to Weakley County about
1847 - a new Dr. - practiced medicine in Scatterville (now known as
Shafter) neighborhood. He was married 3 times and there are tall monument tombstones along with original tombstones - 1st m. to Sarah E. MOSELEY who died in 1855 - thus she was buried in her MOSELEY family cemetery. 2nd m. to Nancy JUSTICE who died in 1856. 3rd m. to her sister, Mary JUSTICE. |
