Final Rites For M.I. Rogers

Death claimes Mrs. M.I. Rogers last Thursday morning at her farm home, 2 miles SE of Greenfield.  The 80 year old mother had lived for over 50 years on her farm now the home of daughter Mrs. Pearl Richmond and son Lester Rogers.  Mrs. Rogers had been ill 6 weeks previous to her demise. Born in Marion, Illinois, she married Carroll Rogers, and with him moved to Weakly County where the union was blessed with seven children, one child, the oldest son, Carl Rogers is deceased.  The husband passed away in 1947.  Immedieat member of the family who survive are:  Mrs Pearl Richmond, John, Lester, Joe & Carroll, all of Greenfield and Mrs. Mary Rogers of Lansing, Michigan. Final rites were conducted at the Baptist Church Saturday with Rev. Cletus Moore and Cayce Pentecost in charge.  Interment was made in the Patterson cemetery. The Hunt funeral home in Bradford was in charge.
